What's everyone's opinions on this 80s coupe in the style of the 944 and the Camaro? Beautiful typical 80s car, or cheap Japanese tat? Still great looks, or dated?

I think they're a bit .....Well, I'd have a widebodied one but that's about it.

The narrowbodied ones are decidedly 'meh'.

Not tat though but definitely one of those 'marmite' cars methinks.

Don't know much about the cars but I always thought the story about how they got named was amusing although I don't know whether it was an urban legend or not.

Didn't clarkson drive one in one of the top gear challenges? May drove an XJS and Hammond drove a 635csi or something.

Seem to remember the starion did quite well until clarkson uprated the turbo and broke it.

Series 6, episode 2 I think.
