Hello,

I have this mixer: http://www.musicarius.com/catalog/images/AM240-1-M.jpg

Now the thing i need help with is the headphones. The mixer does have a headphone socket, yet when i plug the phones in i get nothing out of them, no sound at all. Therefore i am forced to use the soundcard where i can only use speakers or headphones at one time.

I need to have the phones working via the mixer input and then the speakers also working via soundcard, this will save me changing them over every 5 minutes

Any help appreciated

Are the 'phones on the CTRL RM bus? That would allow for separate speaker/'phone levels:

MAIN fader controls speakers/amp level, CTRL RM pot controls 'phone level [so check your CTRL RM knob isn't all the way down!]

If the phones are for some bizarre reason on the MAIN bus, then simply reverse the outputs so that the fader controls 'phone level and the CTRL RM pot controls speaker/amp levels. It's a bit cack-handed, but it'd produce the same desired effect: two separate mixes for speakers and headphones.

Well, it makes sense at half four in the ruddy morning :D
