Hi guys, sorry if this question might seem obvious but I'm no expert, I've done a little googling and searching these forums and it seems like mixing different brands of RAM looks like a bad idea, I just wanted some clarity on the issue so I thought I'd ask here first before ditching the idea.
My motherboard is a Asus P5N-E SLI
My current RAM is 2x 1GB A-DATA DDR2 800 PC-6400 CL5
The RAM im adding is 2x 2GB PNY DDR2 800 PC2-6400
So should I add the new ram whilst keeping the old ram in, or should I just remove the old ram?

EDIT: Nevermind, I went ahead and tried it and so far I don't think its been detrimental in any way as far as I can tell, PC still works
