Did anyone else watch the first of this 3 part Drama last night?

It was flawed and you had to leave your brain at the door but I thought it was pretty original and entertaining. I liked the way mobile phone culture and the fears surrounding it were used as the basis for the story and it kind of reminds you just how dependant society now is on them. Was also great to see John Thompson back on our screens as the Therapist too.

Anyone got any theories on the bigger picture and what the guys conducting things behind the scene are actually trying to achieve?

"Mobile phones are the work of Beelzebub"

i'm not at all dependant on mine.

I rarely use it I arrange night's out using my works phone and couldn't really care if others are late or on time.

I must spend about 20 € a year of mobile phone bills.

In fact I could do without mine.

Didn't see your programme btw but I would never watch TV "live" as the ad breaks do my head right in

I thought it was a good drama. I see there taken 2 actors from UF. LoL

Jamie Draven Turn next week. Think he picks up the story. Cant wait to see the explosive Ending they have planed...

I take it UF is "Ultimate Force" while I was watching it I thought to myself some of this feels a bit like Ultimate Force, I wonder if it's the same producers. But I've never seen more than a few minutes of UF so I wasn't sure.

Yeah I enjoyed it, dunno if part one will be repeated before next week.

Damn i missed cos of the footie..

I think it's quite sad the way we have become so dependant on mobiles. Even sadder to see them attached to peoples ears to demonstate self importance. People who have "text" conversations are even sadder..

We have these things so we are told to stay in touch, then invent other things so we don't have to talk to each other. duh!!

"Let's stay in touch".. No let's not.. let's text each other instead... The whole things is weird.

Personally, I can't have a conversation on my mobile. I use it for quick hellos, i'm running late and general things. It drives me nuts when i'm on the train and listen to some girl babble on to her gf about the bloke she pulled last night and how she got herpes as a result.. thing is.. a telephone conversation is private and it shuld be kept that way.

In the program a woman doing that in the "Quiet Zone" on the train had her brains blown out.....harsh but fair.

is it repeated

just want to watch the woman get her head blown off for talking in the train. My fantasy :D
