Mobo, CPU and RAM for £400 tops

As the title says please guys, I need those 3 things, within a £400 budget.

Preferably an E6600 if that is possible, if not then feel free bung up some alternatives

getting A 6600 will put you over budget, with this board you will be able to overclock this easy to 3ghz and have one of the best coolers to go with it.

6600 main advantage is it has 4mb of cache, but in realworld differences are very little. It only makes a big difference if you are Video editing.

mattpj's suggestions sound good to me, you might find that a 4300 is marginally easier to overclock due to the higher multiplier. If you don't want to overclock then you could go with the below specification and it is just over budget.

I have 4300, they are easy to overclock. Some argue one is better than the other. The fact is they are both good chips. I flipped a coin and went with the 4300.
