Mobo for Q6600 @ 3Ghz and 4GB PC2-8500 RAM - 3D Rendering

So, in the next edition of the uni rendering PC saga, what mobo do you guys recomend. So far the specs are for a Q6600 OCed to 3GHz and an 8800GTS. The machine will have 4GB RAM to start with, possibly moving to 8GB in the future, so likely 2x2GB PC2-8500 (unless you feel 6400 is sufficient). I have narrowed it down to a variation upon either a DS3, an IP35 or a P5K. One thing however, I have a DS3 and it doesnt like 4 sticks of RAM, so running 4x2GB in a DS3 may not be fully stable.

But im open to suggestions. Single PCIe only, no need for Raid, although Firerwire would be nice.

What budget do you have?

£1000ish for the whole PC, which probubly, looking at a spec up, means about £80ish for a mobo, maybe more.

RAM voltage or memory controller voltage?

ah, that's what MCH was..? that is up 0.1, memory voltage up 0.4, but it did boot ok on stock

check the 8gb ram thread also..

ive got a 965P DS3 and it wouldnt keep an OC with 4GB RAM regardless of what volts i used. so i changed to 2x2GB.

But anyway, Do you suppose this seems fixed with the P35. a 0.4v increase is only 2.2, most ram is 2.1 or 2.2 anyway, so although the mobo may think so, its not that much of an increase...

But anyway, what you recomend for an <£80ish P35 mobo? Or is P35 the best choice anyway?

Any recomendations? Probubly stick with PC2-6400 RAM now, but you never know.
