Modding and Cooling my Dell Insp 1150 Laptop.

Im just wondering what fans i have inside my laptop as im looking to upgrading, what fans are decent to go for nowadays as i havnt done much research lately.

Im thinking of modding the case aswel to make it more heat efficiant, does anyone know any way of doing such a thing? I want to mod it properly, make it look cool/stylish, sick of the boring old look to it. What kind of spare ports do i have on my main board? Let me know any suggestions.

How would they fit, what ports do they fit in aswel? Is it the same as a desktop?

If you want to replace the internal fan it needs to be 5v. As for improving cooling in other ways, keeping the underside of the laptop ventilated helps. I'm afraid laptop motherboards are proprietary and can't be modified, and modifying the casing without knowing what you're doing is a bad idea.
