I'm currently with Adrian Flux at the moment who have been pretty good to me in all fairness but my renewal is coming up and I would like to have a negotiation with them on the price.

Who do you guys use?

For reference, my car is fairly heavily modified, I'm not just talking about a remap here.

One thing that is quite important to me (which I have on my AF policy) is that if I have a bump or something then parts are replaced as per current modifications, not back to stock.

Thanks :)

Greenlight have always been brilliant to deal with for me, like for like on mods, agreed value etc.

They won't however insure anything over £20k in value or with a BMW badge
This, I used them when I had my Clio and they were by far the best in terms of price and service.

I use Peter James but the car has to be over 20 years old (it does on the policy I have with them, at least). They've no problem at all with modifications, even substantial ones (one car I had insured with them had a different engine, performance upgrades, different brakes, etc. No notable change to the policy). Unlimited mileage and business/commuting use, too...

Im with AXA who were the cheapest by some way, same last year. Sub £500 at 29 for turbo charged MX5 with uprate brakes suspension etc with the same like for like replacement which is important because the conversion work cost £8k

Greenlight for me.

The guy I spoke to showed an interest in my car and knew what he was talking about. Cost me about £20 more than Admiral. Non-power mods can be added via their site and are free. My Turbo back exhaust and intake where both considered not to increase HP so where free to add

Did you go through a broker? AXA wouldn't entertain a simple remap for me.

Anybody have agreed value policies on modified cars worth a substantial amount more than a standard car?

Currently with Flux but potentially looking to move away to ensure I have the a policy with a value of what it would cost to replace the car + mods rather than what I've spent on it if I can find one.

Pace ward.

Value of car and all mods covered like for like on my policy.

Thanks, came through at a somewhat decent price for me, also offering £110 per individual trackday which is miles cheaper than what I was paying via insuremytrackday on considerably lower value insured.
I'll let em know it was a referral when I go ahead in case there's any sort of bonus.

Cheers!

Yea the trackday cover is good, and for example im having downpipes fitting Weds, total cost? The admin fee to update the records to cover the value of the mod and no extra for the extra horses.
