Hi guys, been to see a mondeo mk3 115bhp car with the tdci duratorq engine in,car goes fine but when i took off the oil filler cap there was quite a bit of pressure coming out of the filler cap which indicated to me excess back pressure, has anyone here got a mondeo with tdci engine? i know there will be some pressure there but how much is excess?

how hot was the engine? had you just driven it? ive got the 130bhp variant... I'll check for you...only just got back from a drive...

Hi MrFunex the engine was was warm i had driven it about 5 mile test and lifted the bonnet and took the top off it was a bit splashy with the top off beacause the cam saft is there but seem to be a lot of pressure !! it had 70000 mile on

engine's cooled down on mine now, but i'll let you know tomorrow what it's like after a run
