My mondeo has the folding mirros, but you have to manually press a button to close and open them

Mine are automatic. Lock the car and the mirrors fold close and unlock the car for the mirrors to auto open.

Really? I found the Convers+ in my Titanium X didn't display any additional information over the regular dot matrix screen in the Titanium.

I haven't seen the dot matrix one but the convers+ allows me to browse through all my music, my phone contact list, shows navigation info, tyre pressure, and lets me set up the speed and distance for adaptive cruise control. I imagine the dot matrix screen doesn't allow you to do the latter given that trim doesn't have ACC and tyre pressure sensor as options.
