Mine would have to be a 1968/69 Fender Rosewood telecaster. Ever since I saw George Harrison play one in the Let it Be sessions.
That was the introduction to a very limited production run of only 500 all rosewood solid body Telecasters that Fender produced that year in 1968
A google brings up this and a price of $17,500
# Year: 1968
# Manufacturer: Fender®
# Model: Rosewood Telecaster®
# Case: Original Hard
# Color: Rosewood
# Condition: Excellent
# Description: Natural on rosewood body, rosewood neck and fretboard with dot inlays, all original, Tele® pickups with strong output, three ply black guard, super light and great sounding. Talk about a rare Tele! This one is in excellent condition with light playing wear only, comes with original hard case. $17,500
Fender made a reissue's of these in 2007 in limited numbers and these can be had for around $5000.
But I would love to own one of the original 500 from the sixties.
Please post the electric you would love to own with and image and why.
