Monitor upgrade suggestions please <£350

Hi

My son is looking to upgrade his monitor and has a budget of £300-350, possibly £400 if it’s really worth it. Was hoping some of you lovely people may be able to advise.

He’s been using an old viewsonic which is pretty awful.

A 1440p panel would be nice for future proofing, but I’m sure his rig will struggle: i5 4440, 16GB DDR3, 980ti.

In budget, 1440p, 2 in stock!, a 980 Ti will cope with 1440p, but don't expect Cyberpunk 2077 to work that great. 980 Ti only has 6 Gig of VRAM Gddr5 and is 5.5 years old.

Its a VA panel and 32 inches. But curved and no RGB!

1440p, very good image quality and around 200 pounds, although it is not huge by any means (just 24"). However, bear in mind that this screen has an IPS panel and a refresh rate of 60Hz. I use for gaming a 4K screen that is also IPS and 60Hz and I am more than happy with it, but it cannot be considered a gaming monitor.

Hope he enjoys the new screen. I own the same brand of monitor, great value and quality.
