Monitor V TV for Xbox 360?

I currently play my 360 on my PC monitor but it is only 19".

I'm going to upgrade to a 22" but I've noticed that 22" HD monitors are lots cheaper than 22" HD TV's.

Considering I don't watch TV, would it be sensible to buy a monitor instead of a TV and save my self a lot of money, or am I missing something?

Sounds good to me! I play my 360 on a 24" monitor and it's great.

I sit very close to my screen so have no need for a bigger screen size although if I do play on the 360 downstairs that's on the big TV in the living room but it's rare I'll play on that.

I prefer mine on my monitor, more comfortable to sit at and play - the only consideration I guess is inputs (assuming HDMI/VGA on the Mon) and sound... Monitor won't produce any - the fact you currently play like that I assume you have that issue sorted!

Yeah, I use a VGA cable which has a sound jack on so I can run it through my PC speakers.
