Monitoring 360 download speeds remotely

This might seem like a strange question, but is there any way to monitor at what speed the x360 is downloading? I thought perhaps a network monitor on a windows PC that can check the throughput on a remote NIC. I'm hoping that since the 360 is an MS machine it used similar protocols, making this possible.

So, is it possible or am I going to have to wait and hope they put a monitor in the next dash update?

afaik, only if you're connecting the box to the net through the PC.

That said, some sort of packet sniffer should give you an idea of the throughput, but don't look at me for instructions
