I was hoping to get out again and improve on these, but its been raining for the past few days so you're stuck with them!
Taken a few days ago, only my second outing with my D50. Just messing about really! I think i used the RAW files for all of these (for the first time).

Was playing about with dof (see later shot), its a bit dark 'cos i was stupidly facing the sun.

A fake Christmas-y 'thing' left on top of our TV. Playing about with dof again. I think i cropped this 4:3, should it be 7:5?

The subject's a bit boring here, but i was lying down and messing about with dof. Nice effect on this one i thought.

Random padlock on an old gate on the way to the park. I think it came out pretty well.

Critique welcomed. Apparently there's an 'animal house' at the park so next time we go i should be able to chase around some more interesting subjects.
