More PS3's sold than the 360 in Europe

If true, you have to remember Europe is filled with idiots who back Sony no matter what.

Also, surely the 360 has sold more than 5 million in Europe? lol

Idiots who back sony ...... seems your an idiot if you buy one machine rather than the other.

sigh .... this thread will bring a lot of idiots out of the woodwork.

I find the news rather dubious, other than myself i know one other person that owns a PS3, but 4 that own a 360.

I also think its worth mentioning that i only own a PS3, not because i'm an idiot that follows Sony but because i follow Final Fantasy, God of War, Metal Gear Solid and Gran Turismo... there's more to owning a console than brand name.

[EDIT] Needles in 'Gif that actually make me laugh for once' shocker! :P

[EDIT2] I also follow the guys who made Ico... anywhere, seriously if they jumped off a cliff i would be right behind them.

I'm sorry but that is the dumbest thing I've read in a long time..

Europe is filled with idiots? One idiot maybe... I.E you !

I see what you did there.

Sony gave Europe the finger multiple times with the PS3 launch and 2007, but people blindly follow them.

Don't put words in my mouth, didn't say it was idiotic to pick one machine over the other, but it is true that Sony have a huge following in Europe...which is surprising considering.

So would you rather them to have released even though that knew they wouldnt be able to produce enough systems to meet demand? Whats 3 months, its not like we missed out on much by not getting it until March.

One thing is for sure, if Sony are playing games with these figures you can expect Microsoft to be quick to respond. If Microsoft don't say anything then that pretty much confirms Sony are telling the truth (for once ;))

i don't believe that, i don't know anyone personally who has a PS3 but i have about 10 friends with a 360 in real life.

Obviously friends tend to get the same console to play each other online - many people have bought ps3's and whilst the 360 has done fairly well in the UK it has not in continental europe. Selling almost as well as the ps2 at the same stage whilst being more expensive is not bad.

Europe is huge for Sony, so they should have been giving it priority I think.

Also, I'll say it again, only 5 million 360's in Europe? I doubt it, that would mean the US and Japan have about 17 million between them and I seriously doubt Japan has had many sell.
