Well unless he has hard scientific proof that loose women cause earthquakes then i imagine most people with half a brain would just ignore another religious nutcase spouting off nonsense as usual.

Utter idiocy, but you don't have to be religious to show idiocy.

Didn't some Christian fundamentalist recently suggest that the enthusiasm for paedophilia amongst Catholic perverts was due to homosexuality rather than celibacy

Didn't some idiot just imply that paedophilia amongst catholic priests is due to celibacy without any evidence?

Especially ironic as he did it in a post attacking others for making idiotic baseless claims...

I think maybe he has taken the old saying "Has the earth moved for you" a little bit too far.

    To continue Dolph's theme...

Idiocy isn't exclusive to religion. But regardless, that cleric is an idiot.

Know its a joke, but some people actually believe we are. If i AM indeed a heathen and wrong about my disbelief in god and there really is a heaven etc.. i don't think i'd WANT to be there if those people are going too.

I wonder if that cleric actually believes in what hes saying, its like they're coming up with the most ludicrous things to proclaim just to see how stupid people are and how far they can push it.

My parents always say stuff like this, but its usually more along the lines of the devil making people think and do things. I am told the bible talks about end times and more natural disasters, wars and rumors of wars. promiscuously and lover's of pleasure. preperation for a new world. A lot of intellegent people believe this stuff. I never believed any of it and I am not very intellegent at all. It depends on social attitudes of different generations I think. a lot of people would be surprised about how they would be if they were born into a different time or place. I absolutely hate how people assume others are idiots for human fallibility.
