Morrisons Petrol Prices

Lo,

In my town at the moment there is a big fuss going on over the price of petrol from the local Morrisons supermarket. It started a month ago when our price for unleaded was 91.9p/litre, this was 4p higher than Shrewsbury (14 miles away) and Stoke (15 miles away). There were people avoiding buying petrol there because of the difference.

Didnt really bother me but i did notice that the price could start at 90.9p in the morning (7am) and but up to 92.9p by 8:30am, and then back down late at night.

However the price is now 94.9p a litre.

I was wondering if you could post your location and how much your local Morrisons are charging!

If my memory serves me correctly, its 92p here in South Wales. They usually are one of the cheapest

93.9 in morrisons in caerphilly,south wales. this was yesterdays mid day prices,so it may have gone up since then.

Last week i only paid 89.9 for petrol, its gone up to 93.9 now.

Wish I paid your prices, unleaded is about 97 pence per litre on average around here(well the four garages I pass on the way to work at least

) and optimax etx is over the pound mark.

asda near me unleaded is still 89 and diesel is 92.
havent got a Morrisons here

Well what have I been saying over the past few weeks. I can see it going over £1 for petrol. At my local petrol is 93.9 and diesel 98.9. When i posted about oil, you all laughed and told me you didn't care. Oil is now sitting at $74 after going to £1.10 in the space of a few minutes. So prices will be up again tomorow

Diesel is over £1/ltr in many places, alas, only a matter of time for petrol.
