So I got my parcel from Nik and was surprised how much there was in all honesty. Cheated a little though and went to find the backing plate for the sideboard which I could then cut to feed cables through and loop at the back. Although no Harbio so had to go in search of my own cabling snacking supplies
Went from this mess
To this;
Genuinely the best product in my opinion was actually one of the more inexpensive in the bundle - the LTC Wall Clips, honestly these things are awesome, you can secure cable to the wall, back of the cabinet, along the cabinet etc and it's then easy to add/remove cables to the same holder at a later date. When I wall mounted the TV I didn't put cables in for the wife's Wii so now what I've done is looped the cable at the top left of the unit and secured using one of the wall clips which means she can now just undo the clip to plug the cable into the TV and then put it away again afterwards.
Plug labels were a great help and mean I don't need to try and remember which plug is for what item. In addition to that, I've labelled my HDMI cables too so I now know which cables end up where on the back of the TV.
The velcro re-usable ties were a nice touch as well, being able to bundle cables together and then add an extra one afterwards was a life saver.
Final product to mention has to be the cable tube, means once you've bundled cables together you can then have it run in the tube as one rather than a bunch of cables together being on show. Flash really shows up the white but when it was in my unit the white helps the cables blend in with the unit (rather than a load of black wires going around together)
Thanks again Nik & LTC, much appreciated - I may even re-do my computers cabling as it's done okay at the moment but I think with these products it could be so much better.
Jesus christ the difference is like night and day! Well done!
