I know its not a film character but I'll say it anyway. Ben from Lost. I wanted this guy to die. And the thing I *HATE* the **MOST**, is that he achieved a classic cop out redemption at the end with all sins forgiven, regardless of how much of a **** he had been uptil that point. On top of the unforgiveably rubbish ending this really propelled Ben into a stratospheric level of hatred for me.
And while I'm on the subject of Lost, one charcacter who you are definately not *supposed* to hate, but I also hate with a passion, is Jack. For a supposed hero charcater on the show, he came across to me as a whiney, do-goody prat, who simply got in the way of the interesting characters such as Sawyer.
I also hated Chakotay on Star Trek Voyager. This guy simply did not even need to be there, an utter waste of a character and I bet the actor himself hated him.
