Most over-rated game of the past 12 months?

How could i forget! ARK. Terrible imo, tried it at release on early access with some mates and we all took advsntage of the refund policy right away. Maybe its better now but i dunno, was a mess when we played

Not sure if this counts as its not fully released yet

SW: Battlefront for me. Great graphics, fantastic sound...but...just so much missing from it.

Has to be battlefront. So much hype and it just died on its arse due to lack of gameplay. Beautiful, but so mundane once the shine wears off

Fallout 4 was as I expected. I'm not a huge fan of the franchise but still bought it anyway, with the settlement stuff... I built up two or three and the rest are left to fend for themselves. I then uninstalled it as I had completed the main and quite a few side stories and past caring for it.

I'd say Project Cars. I can sometimes get the wheel set up for a car to only be let down by mediocre physics. I then try another car and have to start again. I actually found the Karts the best bit about the game, which was surprising going off other peoples' reaction. R3E, RF2 & AC outshine it massively. I like good graphics but I enjoy a good game, something pCars is not.

SW Battlefront was rated by anyone to begin with? :p

Surprised at the Fallout 4 hate. Rubbish 'RPG' upsetting the long term franchise fans, but seriously did you not see that coming? But very good loot shooter for those into that.

My overrated:
Undertale. Zero replay value (sure its like £7). But mostly I didn't find it funny. Yeh, bah humbug.

Pillars of Eternity. Haven't yet played the patched version, but at release it was bland as heck. All weapons word the same but just a % differnt from each other that it didn't try to hide. Ie. This spear is a long sword but 25% more reachy etc. And I couldn't get over the in your face constantly Kickstarter backer 'invisible' NPCs that sucked the life out of the ambiance. Dislikable party NPCs.

Is it wrong that I've spent more time building settlements than actually "playing" the game? :p

Nope, and when I'm done with the main story, and I've no quests left to do (I'm very close), I plan on building nothing but lots of defenses on Spectre Island, and spawning a load of enemies :D
