MOT expiry - car off the road, need I tell someone its expired? Forms?

Hi,
My mk1 escort's MOT expired today, do I need to tell someone/fill in a form to say its off the road, not in use?
Its still taxed, but not on a SORN.

Nope, just MOT it when you want to use it again.

You need to keep it off any public road - if you have a garage then keep it in there.

Don't think so. If it's taxed and insured it can be on the road.

Sorry i didnt read the OP correctly, i thought the car wasnt taxed :eek:
