MOT Failoure, any ideas?

my mondeo has failed on "offside brake pedal linkage has exessive wear in the eye of the stationary pin", guy at mot place has neer done one before and is getting me a price, any ideas on what it may cost or if i can do it myself?

no ideas, rang up garage and he is still getting price must be a pretty rare thing to go

Phone Ford dealership near you, atleast then you will know what twice the cost is :cool:

went to ford today, both there service dept and rapid fit have never seen one break before (about 6 techies looked at it).

Ordered the parts (£15) will have to ring round on monday to see if anyone will fit it, ford want £120ph, rapid fit £60ph.

The actual problem is the rod had come out of its bush, some the techies reacon it may be possible to push it back in if i could get a grip on it somehow
