motherboard boot up beeps

hi, just turned on my abit ip35 pro for first time and it booted fine, displayed all drives, ram, cpu etc and then i went into bios, changed it so cd boots, and saved and restarted but now when it boots everything turns on but it beeps, and the beeps are long with a gap then long, then gap, at least 5-10 seconds of continuous beeping then gap and so on.

help. should i clear cmos?

i cleared cmos and it booted again, but again changed it 2 boot cd first and it beeps again. i dont hav a floppy connected, should i?

i just changed clock in bios and saved and rebooted and long beeps again.

on the post screwwn it shows 4gbs ram, in duel channel,

try with i stick first, also may need to up the volts for ram.

in uguru it says ddr2 voltage = 1.79v and ddr2 vtt voltage = 0.89v

should i put ddr2 voltage to 1.9 or 2.0?

default will be 1.8 in bios, start at 1.9 and go from there.

yer 1.9v hangs on abit screen, should i try 2.0v?
