Hi Guys...

New bloke on the block looking for some help please, looking to build a new computer with about an amd athlon 4000+ pc3200 ddr ram, gotta be sata 2 and pci express 16 probably sli ready if possible, most other things dont matter so whats the best motherboard out there with these options please?!?!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Are you on about "The Best" or do you have a price limit?
Asus A8N32-SLI £140
DFI RDX200 £140
MSI RD480 £76
All have good reviews and will serve you well.

MSI RD480 Neo2 Crossfire (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-066-MS)
Asus A8R-MVP Crossfire (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-129-AS)
DFI LanParty UT RDX200CF-DR Crossfire (Socket 939) Motherboard (MB-017-DF)

Would have to agree with getting one of the above boards.

With the much higher cost of Nvidia cards & slower performance than ATI cards, your much better getting one of these boards & going ATI Crossfire (SLI in ATI speak).
