Motherboard issue - HDA & AC-97

HDA & AC-97 adapters which need to go in the motherboard from somewhere, but we don't know where. :( Is it JCOM JLED? There are also JAUD1 and JTPM1

Motherboard is a Z77A-G43 and the components are

you only need to use one of them, i used AC-97 but had problems with that so changed mine to the HDA.

JAUD1 = Front panel audio connector, that is where you put either AC-97 or the HDA

Thanks mate, it's all sorted now and the HDA was useless, it's the harddrive flashing light thing, which i already had on another adapter. :)

HDA (HD Audio) is a newer version of AC97 giving better capability and should be used instead of AC97 if your board supports it.

Hopefully this helps you out.
