Motherboard Sound Help ?

I have a Gigabyte MA770 UD3 Rev 1.0

Im using the built in Soundcard and for some reason i keep getting this kind of flickering interfearance every 5 seconds or so its like a tick .. Tick .... sometimes it goes for a bit longer and then comesback.

So i tried using my old SB Audigy 2 instead after disabling the onboard card via the bios and i still get the same problem. Ive tried using latest drivers etc. Im currently using Windows 7 64bit but ive had it on 32bit with the same problem.

Im a bit confused. Any ideas ?

if 2 different soundcards are doing same are you sure the source isnt your speakers then? try a different pair or headphones or somat

Ive tried two headphones and 1 set of speakers, all produce the same problem, which only started when i moved over to my MA770 UD3.
