.... but what will Rossi do after his crash at the practice session in which he substained hairline fractures to his hand :confused: He has his leathers on but his arm's in a sling :eek: If Nicky Haydon puts his head down then this could make his fight for the championship even stronger ;) I was going to go to the gym today but I might have to postpone it for a wee while now :)

Cant find it listed on TV either today or tomorrow!! Is it being shown at all?

Anyone going Donnington next weekend? Third year for me :)

Yup it's on. I've just watched the 125 race which had a belting last lap :D The 250's are on shortly. I'll try and get the times for you. And if all goes well then I'll be at Donington next weekend too :D

Cant believe it..

Feel so sorry for him.. it looked like he was away, especially when Hayden sat up
 
Well, i dont think my heart will race that fast in such a short space of time ever again. Hayden has a 2sec lead into the last lap, edwards flies up and passes him with 3 corners to go, on the last corner, hayden tries round the outside, goes into the gravel, but edwards flies off his bike, hayden keeps it straight and takes the win!

30 quid coming my way ;)
 
Rossi managed to pick up a few points but I'm not sure what kind of shape hes going to be. I dont want to say it but the championship may well be over (especially considering that Loris is also suffering).

What, where everyone crashes out and cant stay on the tarmac? ;)

The more people that try and compare F1 to bike racing the more I laugh, its a totally different sport.
 
totally different in what way? They are both racing motor vehicles around racing circuits. Only F1 are too scared to do any real racing because when they make contact the cars fall to bits.

I like the way you didn't use the the term 'racing' to describe F1 ;)

Yes, yes they are totally different sports. One has racing, overtaking and drama. The other has a bunch of people driving around in a procession and 'overtaking' at pit stops.
 
And in bike racing its the riders that fall to bits during the accidents ;). Last race at Barcelona we had Melandri, Loris and Sete all get rather badly hurt. In fact, that one could have been rather nasty indeed :(.

Stop trying to compare the two, you simply cant. Compare MotoGP to something like WSB if you want, at least they are similar and of the same sport. If you want to compare F1 to anything then compare it to another single seater formula, e.g. Indy, A1GP, etc.

If you'd have watched the Monaco GP recently then you would have seen some great racing and overtaking.

I love both sports btw but the constant comparisons are nonsense :D.
 
To an extent you can compare them. They're both racing series (although that's questionable for F1) and are both pitched as being man and machine vs man and machine.

It all comes down to personal preference though. Personally speaking, I find F1 as exciting as washing the dishes (hence why I didn't go to Silverstone this year) but I really enjoy watching Moto GP.
 
I've just watched the big boys race as I had to tape it because I needed to go out, but what a race :eek: I had a lump in my throat when I saw Colin coming into his garage after his spill at the last corner. He must be gutted. Still, Rossi done himself proud but this championship is far from over yet. ;)
