Rossi highsided at 120mph in FP2

Stretchered off holding right leg and in a lot of pain :(

Latest info says he has a suspected fracture of his right shin bone (tibia)

If Brno is on the cards for a return then he'll miss

June 26 Netherlands Assen
July 4 Catalunya Catalunya
July 18 Germany Sachsenring
July 25 United States Laguna Seca

I would assume that Tech 3 would be pretty upset at one of their riders being poached for 4 races. Unless theres a decent compensation package of course ;)

You would think that Lorenzo has it now , even this early in the season. Stranger things have happened and he's not averse to the odd big highside either ;)

Stoner's head and heart just isn't in it and the word is he's off to Honda anyway so count him out.

Pedrosa is never up for a fight and you always have doubts over his ability physically to last a race distance.

Its already been intimated that Rossi won't race in MotoGP again as he has nothing to prove and will start his own team , where this comes from god only knows ;)

Would be good for Yamaha to see how well Spies goes on a 'works' bike, and could have a big effect on his and Lorenzo's worth come contract time.

Spies can't ride a factory race bike due to the 'no rookie' rule.

Basically if its your first year in MotoGP you aren't allowed to ride a full factory bike.

So either a japanese test rider or Edwards is the latest rumour.

Its a new rule for this season.

In 2010, no rider eligible for Rookie of the Year will be allowed to go straight to a factory team.

Instead, they will have to go to a private or satellite team for at least one year, after which they will be eligible to join a factory team.

Rossi had been cruising around for a km or so looking for a gap to start the wind up for a quick lap.

Tyre had cooled down rapidly before he gave it some gas , cold left hand side of tyre let go. His telemetry engineer repoted that.

Schoolboy error to be honest.

Rossi was addressing the crowd by telephone at Mugello over the PA system and just kept saying 'Caio , caio, caio'

Make of it what you will

Good win by Pedrobot , Lorenzo did what he had to do and that was stay on and pick up good points.

The start of Pedrosa's and Honda's comeback ? One slip by Lorenzo and he's back in with a shout ;)
