MotoGP Starts this weekend

If I was Rossi, I'd be looking at perhaps signing back up with Yamaha next yr.. Give it another 2yrs of ding donging at the front, then perhaps hang up his leathers. He can't go with this shame hanging over him..

I agree, Though I cant see Yamaha doing this unless Spies has a major bad year. I would hate to see Rossi bow out in such a way as he does not deserve such a poor ending to such a glittering career.

I have always been of the belief that what he brings to the moto gp table is far more than what Stoner and Lorenzo bring, Of course they play their part but when Rossi was the top "Alien" he bought a celebration never before seen to motorsport, He has so much more than just a winning mentality, He has a combination of attributes that make him the envy of his rivals.

I always remember how I cringed when Lorenzo started doing his victory celebrations, Like he was saying, Look Rossi I can get fans too by doing this...lol.

I really do hope Rossi still has it and can some how find a way back to the fast bikes and challenge again....Moto gp must be hoping for that as well ( I am sure dorna realise this).

yamaha wont have him back unfortunately , they have jorge, spies then next year when spies's contract is up they have the choice of keeping him crutchlow or dovi really , only place i could see him is gresini or a crt

Well this yr maybe. But next year it's all up for grabs. Spies has to do something special for them to keep him.

Lorenzo won't be best pleased mind. He is and expects to remain the no.1 Yamaha rider. That may change if Rossi comes back.

Dorna will also be pushing for this move. As said above Rossi brings so much to the sport and advertising revenue. But he has to be at the front to get the coverage.

Unlikely, given they have Stacey and Pedrosa. Respol demand a Spanish rider. Stoner is too good to let go and besides which Rossi and Honda left on bad terms. Whereas Yamaha's no2 is struggling thus far, and the Rossi / Yamaha relationship still has a spark.

It'll either be Yamaha next yr or hang up the leathers. Hopefully Yamaha.

yam or Honda don't just lease the bike to anyone with the money
they do look at the team and the rider combo before deciding yes or no
they wouldn't want Rossi maybe beating them on a customer bike.

Awesome ride from Cal, 4th in the end. Was on a very quick lap but lost it in the last sector.

Hayden's done really well, head scratching for Rossi.:(
