Hi, I have my test in a few weeks and its on a 125 scooter, what happens when you pass, does this just mean im only allowed to ride up to 125's? Even though the test is an A1?

My instructor says it gives me the A2 (Automatic ) license?

Anyone able to help

In the book it says If between 121-125cc and can exceed 100kph (62.5mph) a catogry A will be given.

Im only 19 so I can't be given a Catogry A but would it be an A2?

You'd be on restriction, allowed to ride a bike with a maximum of 33bhp (I believe)

But its a 125cc scooter capable of doing 70mph is that classed as a Light bike A1 or A2 standard bike? I'm just really confused.

Anyone any ideas?

I just don't want the my scooter to be invalid for which ever test, I'm sure it will be A2...

Sounds to me like you'd get a restricted auto licence. Meaning you can ride up to 33bhp for 2 years, then any power, but auto only unless you pass on a geared bike.
