Straight in at the deep end in the new job, doing scripts and voiceovers. Long old week :D

My first ever time as well, hehe. :)

Your words your voice?
Constructive criticism: it's twenTy twelve, not 'tweny twelve'
Keeping Autocar highbrown and all ;)
Also, when describing the upcoming 4matic model, would it be slightly better to describe it along the lines of: '...Those will be pleased to here that a 4wd drive version under Mercedes 4matic badging will be available later'
I'm not sure if Mercs 4matic system is as household a name as Quattro is, so giving the info that 4matic is Merc blurb for AWD would be good, no?
I'm sure a lot of people assume 4matic means 'automatic'

As for the car.... meh, I'd rather opt for the C class :)

Different to the starting one at some docks...

I am assuming they only show the take off as they stacked the landing, instead a retake in much much safer soft snow :D

No cam shaft engine, very cool. No idea if anyone's doing something similar, but first I've seen off it.

Inside Koenigsegg provides for the first time, a look behind the scenes at Koenigsegg and examine how innovation within the highest echelon of sports car manufacturers will affect the broader automotive world. Company founder and principal, Christian Von Koenigsegg, hosts this nine-part series, which was produced at Koenigsegg headquarters in Angelholm, Sweden.

In the seventh episode, Christian Von Koenigsegg and Urban Carlson demonstrate their Free Valve technology that does not require a camshaft to run. This engineering is being pioneered by Koenigsegg for future use, but is already running in a Saab 9-5 test mule.

What a truly fascinating design, such a beautifully concept, now that its been explained it kinda seems such an obvious, simple even*** evolution of the ICE that should have happened a long time ago but it obviously took this long for someone to invent/take it on/develop it.

I really hope this becomes a standard technology in future engine design, can you imagine the possibilities this opens up for engine tuning and performance, however i suppose on the flip side this also opens a lot more possibility for things to go catastrophically wrong.

***i mean the idea of independent, non camshaft driven cylinder head, obviously not the actual engineering of the system.
