A quick search for the plate at the publically available DVLA records website shows nothing, which implies that it's not currently registered. regarchive says the plate was registered in Reading in 2000 some time being March and August.

If a car is destroyed, is the plate number re-used? I would not be surprised if that car had been destroyed. Hopefully without involving anyone else.
 
You should have called your channel 'My mate has an R8 so I cream myself over Audis and even bought an A1 just to be like him and now I've made a channel to show off his car even though isn't mine.'

It might catch on.

Of course not. I went to the reception desk, know a couple of the people that work there already and asked if it would be okay for me to get a few videos of the R8 etc. They were absolutely fine with it.

Oh and is that a personal insult tacked on the end?

Whatever you say, it may just catch on. We both have access to the account so why not take advantage of the fact he has an R8 and do some videos?

Facebook page already has over 300 likes and we only created it on thursday/friday.

Don't see the point of getting videos in dealers. Anyone can walk into a dealer and fiddle with the cars in there.

As for that bottom video- here's some advice: turn off the **** music so we can here the engine and make sure the camera is in focus!
