lol that steering wheel :p when I bought my DFGT wheel for my pc and that thing spun for the first time scared the **** outta me... that wheel is just nuts though!!!!! :o

I think that the cost is very high for the difference over a standard Tesla S. The Saleen Tesla S costs US$152,000. That's US$60,000 over the top of the range Tesla S. There's no extra power and no indication of what, if any, performance improvement is delivered by the relatively minor changes to the brakes, gears, aero and suspension. It's not as though the Tesla S is crap in those areas.

As for the sound, a loud piercing whining isn't my cup of tea. I'd rather not drive a dentist's drill knowing that it was made that way deliberately. Straight-cut gears are stronger and a little more efficient, but the noise makes them rather silly for a road car.
 

This lot don't mess about. Some lovely sounding cars. You can really see which have the most grip. I want a go!
