So ****ing nice.

I don't care what people say about American muscle and hot rod type cars, but seeing and hearing one in the flesh is quite an experience, especially in this country.

Saw an old looking matt black pick up truck the other day, looked like the one Stallone was driving in the Expendables, very understated but had some visual cues pointing to a a beast lurking underneath the bonnet. Was stopped under neath a wide bridge at a traffic lights. When the light went green, it made what can only be described as a biblical roar/shredding noise. Was bloody awesome. :eek:

This has certainly thrown the cat among the pigeons. Avoid the youtube comments section, it's an "abandon hope all ye who enter" situation.

My Mustang was quicker on a roll than my friends 2010 GTR with y-pipe, and in-gear acceleration my Saleen was noticeably quicker, but I was faster on a roll than an E60 M5 and 997 Turbo. Mine was 575BHP and about 1620kg, a very quick car, give you an idea, another quick car an M3 CSL it literally made it look like it was going backwards.

However from a standstill the GTR absolutely destroyed me, we went on a 1/4 mile run and if I remember right the GTR was doing consistent 11s 1/4's maybe a bit quicker with around 117mph terminals whereas I was struggling to even get in the 11's, but my terminals were all 120+ with best being 124mph.

GTR, 911 turbo use voodoo magic to get off the mark and do 0-30mph in silly time, mainly known as 4WD and PDK/Auto transmission. :)

Taking a 1937 Ford Model Y for a quick spin in 2011. Would have been nice to have had more than 30 seconds to learn how to drive it before dealing with modern traffic, haha.

I loved it though, so entertaining. Sounded great too :D

watched the latest gramps vid last night. was pretty good.... but seemed to be waffling on about how bad the car smells for the majority of the video. the guys hacking/programming of the climate control to do other things was pretty amazing though. epic was to keep it looking standard :)

better vid was on their other channel mcm2 or what ever when they actually showed the driving of the car on the streets :D

That is annoying. Between the wind noise and the low speed induction sounding like an 80 year old that's smoked 40 marlboro a day since he was two... From the video description;

Apparently the microphone was attached to the opening of the airbox as this sound track is not what you hear inside the cabin.

Maybe they should have mic'd the inside of the cabin.
