Went to drift limits for their drift gold day yesterday so thought I'd post a couple of videos of the in car footage.

My better session on the full circuit in the mx5 and my session in the M3. The first session in the mx5 was a bit crap as the front tyres we're knackered and I was just getting heaps of understeer on the two fast corners.

So....you need to wear a helmet, but they don't bother? Doesn't strike me as very professional..

Didnt make much sense to me either.

the organisation and layout of the day was very well done though, and we'll worth the money with about 2-2.5 hours of seat time over the whole day.

I'm not sure helmets even for the drivers we're entirely necessary as there was loads of run off and more or less nothing to hit even if did come off the track.

Interesting my brother was only talking about one of these rocket bikes which he saw at a drag racing event somewhere this year - his quote was that it sort of sat on the line, popped and hissed a bit almost as an anti-climax before the rocket kicked in and it scorched off up the track :eek:
