Electric isn't new:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_electric_vehicleEnglish inventor Thomas Parker, who was responsible for innovations such as electrifying the London Underground, overhead tramways in Liverpool and Birmingham, and the smokeless fuel coalite, built the first production electric car in London in 1884, using his own specially designed high-capacity rechargeable batteries.[15] Parker's long-held interest in the construction of more fuel-efficient vehicles led him to experiment with electric vehicles. He also may have been concerned about the malign effects smoke and pollution were having in London.[16]

Flying Lexus

Thought I'd share this. Few friends and associates went to Spa at the weekend and took some serious metal for a run. Don't know the lad in the La, but mate is in front in the 918, first time out ever on track in his 918 though not his first time on track. Enjoy and let this once and for all put to bed the 18 year old Corsa drivers who think they would do a better job if they had the car. Got to admire them for taking out 1000bhp cars on a wet Spa!!
