Motors YouTube Videos

This is such a good series. Dinan this time talking about ECUs and what not and makes it so simple to understand. And Tom Nelson last week and the week before talking about the LS and big power.

I find these features far more interesting than any other car video from the usual outfits out there. Seeing and hearing about how cars like this were found, and how they're used on a regular basis - Amazing.

The guy in this one is also pretty awesome, just get out and drive!

Edit*

This guy too!

I had to stop watching Petrolicious as I just can't take the hipsters any more (not that they all are). Plus, most of the time not much actually goes on in the vids, slow mo DOF shots of someone's hands on a steering wheel and stuff.

Great "arty" shots and well put together, just a bit dull.

Were you expecting the plainness approach of Fifth Gear or something? :p

I suppose not everyone will ever be pleased with any style, but their videos seem to suit the characters and cars they are filming in the majority of them at least. It makes it more personable, and you appreciate the cars more as well as the story of how they fell into the owner's hands. For me, I like that story aspect, and the camera work sets the mood for it just right.

Well, no, but I do enjoy Jay Leno's garage for example - lots of information and enough of a drive to be interesting. Granted, each segment is longer, but some of this style of content could be incorporated and a better show would ensue.
