Did this last year, raised about £1000! Thinking of doing it again, I've not shaved for a few weeks and given myself a goatee so I can go for a full on Rufus Hound if I decide to do it. Still 'discussing' it with the other half though, she didn't like it last year!

I would, but my facial hair is a joke. It's ginger (the rest of my hair is brown) and patchy. I look homeless if I try to grow it

Good to see that we've got a few people doing it now. I've just read the official rules and it says that you have to only grow the moustache, no beards allowed - I suspect I may disregard this as I don't foresee myself wanting to grow a moustache for a month then spend another month growing a beard just to see how well that goes so I'll combine the effort and shave down to a moustache for the final day or two.

Most of us are going for full growth then cutting down to a tash ready for the big 'Shave Off' at Hooters at the end of Nov.

That's what I'm doing.

It's been just under a week since my last shave and my face is getting quite itchy now. Always a good sign.

Because if I'm going to deliberately experiment with facial hair (rather than my occasional laziness on holiday where I'll let it grow for a week or so) then I quite possibly will only want to do it once. Movember is indeed just for one calendar month but I'd also quite like to see how stupid a beard looks on me hence combining the plan.

I am (un)fortunate as I can grow a beard pretty much over night I shall be donating but not doing as I'd have an unwieldy face of fuzz by the end of november... and I don't know if I want a beard really...
