Possibly Human Traffic, although it's more about the lifestyle really. Saying that though Danny Dyer's character focuses slightly more on the addiction side of things.

A Scanner Darkly is absolutely brilliant. Was blind luck that I saw that film, just fancied going to the cinema and turned up and saw this was on, only time I have ever done that and it's now one of my favourite films
