Moving Exchange email to 365

somone is asking me to help them move from one exchange hosted email provider to office 365 (2 users)

i have never done this before, is it complicated?

assuming i back up the email and calendar, what settings will i need to change ?

the only thing is the current exhange is not in office. its hosted somewhere else and the guy is not being very helpful

im ok with doing that.. but not sure how complicated setting up the other settings are to get the 365 working

i will have access to the domain, just will not have co-operation from the existing exchange hoster

Thanks visibleman.. they do want the office part too

16-bit one is on 2007. one on 2010 but they will be moving to the latest 2013 the comes with it? and thanks for that link, it will come in handy in the future

Just to update the thread:

i set up brand new office365

took a backup of the old email/contacts/calendar to a pst file and restored it

relatively painless, took a while working throught the settings but overall quite straight forward
