Hey people, just looking for some opinions on the subject

I'm currently with Zen and have speeds of 8Gb with a 50Gb p.m limit but i've just noticed Orange have enabled LLU at my exchange offering speeds of upto 20Gb without a download limit

Very tempted to switch but Zen are always flawless with every aspect of service and not sure i'd like to loose that

Orange have a terrible reputation, if it was me I'd stick with Zen easily. That's on reputation alone, I've never tried Orange personally but their reputation isn't good for broadband. Zen on the other hand I recommended to my parents and they've been fantastic - AAISP are better but also more expensive and didn't offer any benefits.

Surprised by that, it's been a while since I checked but they always used to be fairly expensive which was a trade off against the fact they were terribly good at beating up BT. If you had a problematic line they were the people to move to but I've always have used Zen the rest of the time.

If they're cheaper though, AAISP come highly recommended. Very techie and willing to chat to users, very open about problems, really good company.

It depends on your usage pattern - if you're happy using your connection outside office hours AAISP become pretty competitive (plus you have support with a clue, monitoring, IPv6 etc.).

Yeah only mainly use my connection out of office hours as i'm always working, AAISP also offer 100Gb out of office hours

Wonder how long it'd be until I got a speed increase from Zen

Unless you're using AAISP with Be wholesale, you'll get a speed increase with Zen at the same time as with AAISP or anyone else who depends on BT Wholesale.

Even though I don't use either I'd say stick with Zen or go with another reputable provider. I'm on a similar ISP (TalkTalk) and the service is dire so stear clear of el cheapo ISPs.

Don't understand why you'd even be considering this, a quick search of the various forums or Google would tell you what a POS Orange are.

Stick with Zen, when you get 21CN enabled at your exchange they will offer you the same upto 20mbit service speeds.

If your exchange gets unbundled at some point for Be then you have other realistic options (use Be via AAISP at work and its brilliant, and I'm currently in the process of ****ing off VM for the same at home).
