Giffgaff is easily the best mobile network I've used.

been on giffgaff for 2 months now, a couple of service problems (they are very informative on the forums and keep people upto date), aside that, not a single complaint.

my number port took 4.5 hours, and for the cost of it (I pay £10 for the goodybag), it's fantastic, I could not justify starting a fixed contract with someone whilst this exists.

Can I just order a standard sim and cut it myself? Think we have a sim cutter at work you see

Yeah, if you order a micro sim from giffgaff all you get is one someone has cut using a cutter anyway.

They're about to start doing their own micro SIMs.... Check their forum for details.

Puts the kibosh on MicroGaff, but there'll be a lot less grief without people mischopping SIMs and blaming gg for it going wrong!

I've ordered a sim the £20 bag looks like more than enough for me per month and I currently pay £35 with o2 saving £15 a month getting more mins and data than I think I'll use and on a rolling month contract.... Its a no brainer for me..

Just requested my PAC code from O2, I will also be moving over to giffgaff. £10 a month for unlimited internet, unlimited texts and 250 mins seems too good to be true...

Literally just moved to Giffgaff myself. Assuming you've already activated your giffgaff SIM, keep your original SIM in until you get network errors. Then put your new giffgaff SIM in and Bob's your uncle. I didn't have any time without service really. Also there support service is pretty good I found, questions got answered within minutes!

Also I can confirm they send micro SIM now but in a normal SIM template.

I've not received my giffgaff sim yet, it should be here by Friday. I've got the PAC code which they text me which is valid for about a month.

Couple of days. They usually send a text or message your account saying when it'll be ported.

How long did you SIM take to arrive? Mine was dispatched on the 21st but hasn't arrived yet, getting a bit worred as my T-Mob contract finishes soon so I need to use my PAC code in time to stop a new billing cycle

Got up this morning to discover my O2 sim has been deactivated. Put my GiffGaff sim in now and just waiting for the number to transfer over. Hopefully it is done today...

Hmmm guess mines lost in the post then! Pray my new order turns up in time else my PAC code will expire and T-Mobile will once again have me over a barrel.
