do you have a budget? when somebody says "lossless" and "mp3 player" together, its mp3player (with lineout) + offboard amp or dont bother to be honest

The Meizu M6 plays FLAC, and I think a new firmware update is implementing APE. Might not suit you, but its relatively inexpensive and would play the files you want it to. 
4GB can be had for about £60inc del, 8GB for £80 on the famous auction site.
No lineout though, just a headphone out.

Aye, it's not perfect, just a cheap option
For FLAC a larger HD based player would be ideal, but depends on how much the OP wants to spend really, if he just wants it for a few tracks that sound good, then a smaller, cheap player might be more up his street (he'd still get 4-8 average CDs on a 4GB player, with FLAC).
