Behind you... Naked!
I did call it a knob, but changed it to dial for sensitivity, but this keyboard is so frustrating that I must be a knob to keep using it.

Basically I am having real issues with the volume turny thing.

One minute is seems to work, the next it does not?

I have tried MS own drivers, and downloaded drivers and I have even tried forcing other drivers, just to get it to be reliable and every time, it works fine until I load up another program and then it randomly seems to decide whether to work ot not?

Now, I use the Altec Lansing 995 Speakers and have done for a few years and I have gone through many many keyboards and not once have I had a single issue, but now I get the Reclusa, I have nothing but issues with it.

Anyone know a cure other than to throw this junk keyboard out?

No problem here - right hand dial has worked perfectly for volume ever since I got the kb two and a half years ago. Maybe the dial itself is dodgy?

No problems here either but note that the Reclusa volume dial only changes system volume - it won't move the volume slider on applications like iTunes.

Bizarrely though, it seems to change the volume on TotalMedia Theatre (but I think TMT's volume levels are tied to system volume...)

I only want it to do the system volume...

I have now found that its a very well known problem with this keyboard, so I am glad that you are not having any issues, but I am.

In Win7 ( Vista also did this but not all the time ) when I plug headphones in or take them out, the volume goes to full blast. With the speakers being a tad louder than an atomic bomb and havign no other way to turn the volume down, than the volume control on the keyboard, I really need it to be working 100% properly.

Anyway, lets see how it goes... I have completely removed all keyboard drivers totally and reinstalled its own drivers, and if that dont play then I will use the Cherry I bought the other day.
