*****MSI Gaming Laptops - Stock Secured, get your XMAS Orders in NOW!*****

I wouldn't say the keys are crammed up. I have big hands and I can play games all day with no cramp/discomfort.

I have got the prototype version and the build quality is fantastic. Spend a good amount of tiume been hauled around in a backpack, no signs of wear yet!

The 660 isnt the same chassis as the 620/640/740, how do you rate the chassis? I found the 620 to be pretty weak as a chassis goes :(

Apologies for cluttering the thread, I at least hope my 'stupid' questions will maybe help others who may be on the fence...

Anyway, if I may ask, which MSI laptop do you have? And how have you found it usage wise for quality of build etc

Ill hold fire on more questions as I have to make a decision... either grab a bargain on the 660 or regret it!

I have the MSI GT627 and must say I am very pleased with its build. It is solid and sturdy enough to survive more than a year of constant, everyday going out - uni, friends, lan parties. Still, not a single scratch on it.

Hardware wise, I am in love with it! The last game I threw at it was the MoH 2010 multiplayer beta @ HIGH settings, 4xAA, HBAO off. Resolution 1280x800 (this is the native of my model). Hours of continuous play. FPS=~40 without OC. With OC, FPS=60!!! Temperatures were around 72!

As I can see you are thinking about the 660, I am afraid few people can give you first hand experience with it. It is a new model, with new chasis and build design.

But if there is anything I can help with, just ask - I've had MSI gaming laptops for 7 years now :)

Hi there

You will get both sound and picture via the HDMI. The sound will play through the TVs speakers. :)

Good news is over 100 GX660 laptops just arrived. :D
