Didn't actually see the name of the core anywhere so no, they aren't.

Secondly, they're simply passing on the info Nvidia handed to them. Join the angry at nvidia for peeling the label of old gpus, adding a new one then hiking the price, club :p

They've been doing it for years. Providing they don't change the core name and make some change e.g. clock speed/ram upgrade then they can legally sell it as a different product.
