So,
Just fitted the gtx to my asrock z68 fac pro board, connected the 2 power cables from psu, connected mini hdmi adaptor to hdmi cable then to tv hdmi/dvi input and all I get is a black screen.
Also,
Have tried running the msi setup cd in my blueray/dvd drive and when I click on any of the symbols that come up in the msi setup popup box they do highlight, but clicking on them doesnt get any response, So I cant even load the drivers for the card?????

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Note,
Prevoius to fitting this gtx I have been using the 2600k onboard graphics card which I also ran throught the hdmi/dvi tv input with no problems?

Have you changed the settings in the bios to use the PCI lane for graphic and not onboard? Just that Z68 have the hybrid graphics where it uses onboard and external I think?

Just check that anyway, leave the 560 all plugged in and connect the hdmi to onboard and see if it displays then check settings in bios :)

Well,
Before i read this post i dl and ran the geforce drivers from the net, read this, switched pc off to try your idea and now Blank screen even from the onboard graphics :(

So,
As is cant do anything??

Reset the bios settings, there should be a button for it somewhere, if not pop the battery out and back in. Have you tried using a monitor?

Also can you try the GPU in another machine?

Well,
I dragged out an spare unused monitor cable and connected it to the cards output to tv pc input and Now Im getting a picture,
BUT,
After the BIOS screens, Then the win loading screens,
Instead of my usual desktop with all my shortcuts on it all I get is a black blank screen with win 7 on bottom right????

Now,
Is it still worth me tryin what you suggested in the BIOS Buddy??

Well,
Had another go, blank screen, clicked mouse to get dropdown menu, went to display setup(or whatever it was called) in control panel, clicked devices, still showing tv model and no. which was being used via hdmi/dvi tv input and the onboard graphics, BUT Now showing 3 x samsung monitors?? So clicked on then to identify which one, seen tv now showing up as monitor no.2, clicked on display desktop on monitor 2 and BOOM, Now got full desktop as before. While much happier and will like to say thatnkyou for your help and input Nathan ;) I do wonder what the mini hdmi output is for as it doesnt work, now does that mean my new card is faulty?
Also,
I do wonder why the setup cd didnt respond or work?

Well,
Something is still wrong?

I no longer can select the 3d sbs options or the different preset picture quality mode settings on my tv and finally all my 3d and sbs 3d sbs movies are now only showing in the crappy red+green style????

Now,
I wonder if this is because i am running through the dvi/vga from graphics card to the tv vga/pc input as i couldnt get the cards mini hdmi output to the tv's hdmi input to work?

Was really looking forward to watching AVATAR in 3D
