Looking at the ones on this site? Windows will be included. The 7970m is considerably better than the 675m. Be aware that the 4600m is quite a bit slower than mid range i5 CPUs and more so for the i7, but it is a lot cheaper. Also, the 4600m has been superseded by the 5750m, which is some ~20% faster overall iirc, cooler running and uses less power at idle

Could the laptop still handle games like bf3 and skyrim on high settings ? Would it better to have a better GPU and a slightly lower CPU ? As I can't seem to find a laptop with i5 and the 7970m for £950 or less

Drivers might have improved since on both sides, this is faster than the Alienware M18x R2 with a Intel Core i7-3940XM and GTX680m at 1920x1080 in Battlefield 3

About 25 FPS behind in Skyrim, very CPU bound. Whether this is because it's a terrible engine or not is debatable :p

I'd take a faster GPU with a slower CPU for less money any day of the week. If you have the money and don't mind spending it, an Intel quad is the way to go. The AMD GX60 is incredible VFM for a gaming laptop

Oh, sorry, I forgot I was employed to answer your questions. I don't think there were any driver issues with AMD-AMD systems. I've been running Enduro drivers for over a year with 0 issues. There is no backlit keyboard, as clearly stated in the system spec

Edit: massive thread over at notebookreview forums:

Seems you can slap an MSI backlit keyboard in there and use the utility for a different model to control it. I'll scurry off and do some more research for you to find out model numbers/price. Back soon sir :p
