msi x58 platinum bios 1.3 is crap :(

i flashed new bios 1.3 on my board and it made my system very unstable, in the end i ended up going back to version 1.1.

Every time i tried to apply my overclock settings that worked with 1.1 the pc would just crash, and also it wouldnt save the changes either, it always reverted back to 3320 base clock and 1328 ram, i tried allsorts of combinations but still it just kept posting them readings, now iam back on bios 1.1 i have my cpu and ram back to what it was before 3440 and 1376, but still it just doesnt feel stable, that 1.3bios has done summit, i know it

anyone any ideas ??

ohh, and it makes your system run hotter too and thats at the lower overclock speed, crazy eh ? ,lol

what is a good board just now for the i7 chip then and overclocking simplicity etc ??? please suggest as i may go buy one

Does that really matter you are building a PC inside a case and not going to a fancy dress ball.

Seriously though the UD5 is a good choice.
